I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and I moved to Canada more than 13 years ago to make a life in Ontario. I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and completed my course work for my master’s degree in counseling psychology at Yorkville University, to become a Registered Psychotherapist.
I have a passion for volunteering. I have worked and volunteered in the social services field with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Children’s Aid Society, Movement Church, and CMHA. Volunteering with these organizations truly affirms my belief that providing support and hope is a tremendously rewarding act.
As a therapist, my heartbeat is to meet clients where they are with no judgements and walk alongside them at their pace. I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Woodstock, Ontario, and I have experience in working with Couples/Families and also individual clients who have Trauma, ADHD, Grief, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, and Addictions. I am trained in EMDR therapy and also have extensive experience using Internal Family Systems therapy to help clients.
I hope that through the deepest struggles you are facing, you can feel safe not to hide anymore and take that brave step to reach out to someone or myself.

My approach is warm, understanding, and encouraging. I draw from both my personal and professional experiences to support you in a way that feels genuine and helpful. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, truly heard, and understood without judgment.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and backgrounds—children, teens, and older adults. I’ve also worked internationally, which has taught me a lot about connecting with people from different cultures and walks of life. If you’re ready to move from just getting by to actually thriving, I’d love to walk alongside you on that journey. You don’t have to do this alone.

I believe individuals have the capacity for resilience, and will work cooperatively with individuals and couples to identify each person’s inner strength. By listening to what matters most to you, from a place free of judgement, with empathy and compassion, I hope to help you understand how the past informs the present, find solutions and coping strategies for current symptoms, and explore your hopes for the future.
I specialize in supporting clients and families who have faced life-threatening conditions, medical procedures, and long-term recovery journeys. My background in pediatric oncology nursing provides me with an understanding of the medical environment and the complex emotional and psychological issues that often accompany medical treatments and diagnoses.
I offer a holistic approach to healing, respecting both the physiological and psychological aspects of trauma recovery. I am committed to fostering a safe, empathetic environment where clients can explore their emotional and psychological challenges and develop the tools to reclaim their lives. I am honoured to walk alongside you on your healing journey.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist with a deep passion for supporting individuals to navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with themselves. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. My approach to therapy is holistic and individualized, grounded in respect for each client’s lived experiences.
I work individually with children, youth, and adults. I have experience supporting clients navigating through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, and low self-esteem. In my practice, I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. I also incorporate creative arts and body-based explorations, which offer pathways for expression and healing that go beyond words. I value both verbal and non-verbal language, therefore, both forms of communication are used in the therapeutic process.
As a dance/movement therapist, I view the body as a resource, as it contains sensations, memories, emotions, and more. I believe that engaging in movement can bring awareness to an individual's inner knowledge and connect it with outer expressivity. I use body-based techniques to explore experiences, deepen personal insights, and foster emotional release, embodied awareness, and resilience.
